MAC Prom Princess Blush

MAC Limited Edition Archies Girls Prom Princess Pink Blush

How have I got through an entire year of visiting my boyfriend at Portsmouth University without realising that there is a Cosmetic Company Outlet (CCO) in Gunwharf?!  These outlets aren't very common, but if you do come across one you need to pop in! High end make-up from brands like MAC, Clinique and Estee Lauder is sold at discounted outlet prices.

On my first visit I managed to refrain from spending my entire student loan on make-up and only picked up this gorgeous MAC blusher.  Prom Princess is from the Spring 2013 collection and is no longer available in MAC stores, which is the beauty of CCOs - you may be able to pick up limited edition products that you didn't manage to get your hands on.

The packaging is what caught my eye - the white casing makes a change from the classic black MAC usually go for, and the cute Veronica image on the front is adorable!  The actual shade is different to anything in my collection; MAC describe it as a mid-toned pink berry, and it's satin finish gives it a beautiful subtle sheen.  The formula is soft, fine and easy to blend.  It is well-pigmented, but not scarily so which I actually prefer because it's much easier to apply without having clown cheeks.

I've quickly fallen in love with this beautiful shade, and I'll be dragging my poor boyfriend back to the CCO next time I visit him.  Have you tried anything from the Archie's Girls collection - what did you think?
