A Bar Bistro

I've lived in Portsmouth for almost a year now, and I've been walking past a cute little bistro all the time and always saying I wanted to go there but it took me this long to actually go through the door.  There are so many places I want to go here it's pretty much endless! After our day at the Isle of Wight (post here) we popped to A Bar Bistro for a few drinks and some food.

Things That Make Me Happy

Here are a few things that never fail to put a smile on my face:

Burberry Body

After spritzing the last drop of my beloved Diesel Loverdose Tattoo perfume, I was on the look out for a replacement.  While I was scrolling through my daily Wowcher email I spotted a deal to grab this 60ml bottle for just £20.  I had a sample of this bottle in the past and adored it, so I couldn't leave it there! Twenty minutes later it was hot-footing it's way to my flat.

Isle Of Wight

Two weeks ago my parents came down to visit Rob and I to celebrate my 22nd birthday.  We wanted to do something a bit different to normal, so we hopped on a Wightlink ferry to spend the day at the Isle of Wight.  The sun was shining and although we may have had a few too many drinks the night before, we were excited to spend the day somewhere different.

Bobbi Brown Lip Colour in Shell

Last week I turned 22 (I don't know about you, but I'm feeling twenty twoooo...) and I was lucky enough to receive some beautiful presents.  This little Bobbi Brown beauty was a gift from my Mum after seeing me spot it in my local CCO shop.  This is the first Bobbi Brown product I've tried, and it hasn't disappointed!

Zizzi

A few weeks ago Rob and I headed into Gunwharf for a date night with absolutely nothing burning a hole in our pocket - all we had was an email. How did we wangle a meal out without paying for it?

Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb

A few weeks ago my sister went for a little weekend away in London, and she headed straight to the huge Lush on Oxford street.  After sending me a load of sneaky pictures to make me jealous, she got me a few little Oxford St. exclusive treats.  One of them was the Intergalactic bath bomb so as soon as the sun started to set I was running a bath!

Circolo

Date night rolled around again a few weeks ago, so we headed to Circolo in Southsea to satisfy our pizza cravings and we certainly weren't disappointed.

Make Up For Ever Mattifying Primer

When Make Up Forever arrived at Debenhams I was like a kid in a sweet shop - I couldn't decide what I wanted but everything looked good.  After watching a Claire Marshall favourites video and hearing her rave about this product on her oily skin, I just went for this and decided to read about other products a bit more before making a bigger order.  Since it arrived I've worn it every day.

Summer Lips and Cheeks

When it comes to beauty looks, summer is my favourite.  I am a sucker for anything peachy or coral, I love a pop of colour and I can't get enough of the lightweight, healthy, slightly tanned glow.  These are my favourite bits for lips and cheeks when the weather is warmer, and they'll be my go-to options when it comes to holiday packing.

The Still & West

Every time my family pop down to Portsmouth for a visit, we end up trying a new restaurant out.  There are so many places to try in Southsea, and a few weeks ago we gave The Still and West in Spicer Island a go.  Rob and I had visited before for a few drinks in the sun but this was the first time for food.

Brand Focus: MAC

How can someone not love MAC? They have such a huge range of products and shades and formulas that eventually I'm sure we all get drawn to the counters.  I've ended up with quite a few bits and pieces, although it's nowhere near some huge collections I've seen!

Elizabeth Haynes - Under a Silent Moon

After falling in love with Elizabeth Haynes' Into the Darkest Corner, I had to try another of her books.  After a quick scroll through Amazon, I ended up with Under a Silent Moon on my kindle.
