MAC Rebel Lipstick

I can't believe I've only got around to posting about this little beauty now, because I've had it since December - it was a Christmas present from my sister after a lot of hinting.  Rebel is a bit scary in the tube - a deep, dark purple looks a little terrifying, but it transfers to a beautiful berry plum shade on the lips.  The satin lipstick is such a unique shade which is absolutely perfect for the autumn and winter months, although I would wear it year round.  It's very pigmented, and it completely opaque in one swipe, but it's really easy to wear sheerly by dabbing it lightly over your lips and finishing off with a bit of balm or gloss.  Rebel is comfortable on the lips, not at all drying and doesn't bleed into a horrid mess.  It's quite long lasting and leaves a pretty stain on the lips even after a good few hours of wear.  As always, it costs £15 which I'm happy to pay for such a high quality lipstick.  I've loved getting wear out of this over the last few months and will definitely be wearing it into spring!
