Zizzi

A few weeks ago Rob and I headed into Gunwharf for a date night with absolutely nothing burning a hole in our pocket - all we had was an email. How did we wangle a meal out without paying for it?

After making sure we buy all our food and petrol at Tesco, we collected up quite a few points, so we exchanged some for vouchers and headed down to the seafront to grab some food.  We've never been to Zizzi before, but we had heard brilliant things.

The food was absolutely delicious.  Rob went for a meat-filled calzone, and I went for a pulled lamb pizza.  We both loved the food, and couldn't resist swapping fork-fulls every now and again.  Once we'd eaten these, we shared an incredible dessert of a sweet calzone filled with banana, cream, caramel sauce and ice cream.  We had demolished it before I even considered taking a picture, but trust me it was amazing!

The atmosphere was brilliant and the staff were really friendly and helpful.  We felt really welcome and relaxed, and there was all sorts of people there - couples, groups of friends and families.  We both really enjoyed and will definitely be returning!
