Origins Clear Improvement Face Mask

Origins Clear Improvement Clay Face Mask Oily Skin Skincare Routine

You know there's always that one product that sits in your wishlist but you never get around to buying? This is that product for me.  I honestly think it was on a list in my phone for three years, but I never purchased it until now.  The Origins Clear Improvement mask is a charcoal mask targeted at clearing out pores which I've read is pretty impressive on oily skin.  Last month I came across this little pack of 4 sachets of mask for £5 on Feel Unique and I couldn't resist giving it a shot.

I hope you've got a sick bucket at the ready because this post is basically a soppy love letter.  I adore this stuff.  The grey creamy liquid applies really easily and smoothly, and there is more than enough product to cover your entire face in each little sachet.  When you apply it it feels kind of pleasant and cooling, I usually jump straight into the bath while I wait for it to work it's magic.

The mask takes about 10 minutes to dry completely, but I usually leave it on for around 20.  I wash it off using a flannel in warm water - if I was you I'd avoid a white flannel if you can, the mask itself is pretty dark and hard to wash out under a tap.

Once it's washed off, my face feels really clean but somehow doesn't feel like it's had the moisture stripped out of it.  It feels like all of the rubbish has been cleaned from my pores, but there is no dryness or tight feeling left behind, my skin just feels brilliant.  I normally take this opportunity to slather my skin with the Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate and leave it to sin in overnight.

In a nutshell: if you have oily skin, buy this.  Even if you don't have oily skin, I'd give it a shot because it's pretty impressive!
