DIY Scrapbooking

On my sixteenth birthday my aunt gave me a scrap book filled with photos of me with my family and friends.  It was small and only a few pages long, but I loved it.  It had a mixture of photos, cute background photos and adorable stickers and ribbons to decorate it.  Since then I've had the scrap booking bug.
I spent my three years at university snapping away with my camera, so I made a scrapbook with all my favourite (and most embarrassing) photos.  Lately, this is my little project - while Rob and I were in a long distance relationship we made the most of all the time we got to spend together and took loads of photos doing it to put in a scrap book.

Even though we live together now I'm still a bit of a snapoholic, so we've kept scrap booking our memories - my favourite pages are the holiday ones!  I don't just use photos - we collect tickets, maps, leaflets, cards and trinkets wherever we go, and they all go onto the pages too.  I tend to stick everything down with pritt stick, but we have a few rolls of washi tape and sticky foam pads to make things look a bit more interesting.  We find most of the cute bits and pieces from Wilkinsons or The Range.

What do you think of our scrap book? It's getting pretty full now, we're really enjoying deciding which photos to put in it and how to present them.  Do you ever scrap book your memories?

  2. Scrapbooking is so much fun. I really should get back into it. I used to scrapbook regularly. I will have to set some time aside to start again!

  3. I want to begin scrapbooking! I have a box in my wardrobe full of receipts/labels/pictures all ready to put in a scrapbook I'm just not sure where to buy one! The other day I was in Hobbycraft and I found the scrapbook section, but they weren't really scrapbooks. Well, they were but didn't fit my cfriteria I suppose x
