Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate

Say hello to my little skin saviour.  After reading endless raves about various facial oils I decided to bite the bullet and brave putting oil on my oily skin.  I've loved every product I've tried from Liz Earle, so I thought this was the safest bet.  Six weeks later it's the best move I ever made.
This oil contains 100% pure plant oils and should be used at night after cleansing/toning but before moisturiser, although I often skip moisturiser at night if I use this.  At £19 for a 10ml rollerball bottle it's hardly the cheapest skincare product, but you really do use the tiniest touch at a time and for me it's completely worth it.

I have acne-scarred, oily skin.  I originally tried this hoping it would balance my oily skin, but it didn't.  However, it hasn't increased my oil production in the slightest, and there's been a whole host of other benefits:

  • my skin is no longer tight and uncomfortable, it feels plump and hydrated all day and night
  • it has done absolute wonders for my acne scarring, it isn't gone, but it has definitely faded and is a lot less red
  • my overall skin tone is more even, to the extent that I sometimes skip concealer completely now!
  • it smells like heaven
I absolutely adore this stuff, I can't praise it enough! Do you use a facial oil?

  2. I haven't seen this, it looks fab. I have combo skin so will have to check this out. I'm currently using the Josie Maran oil and I love that but the rollerball applicator will be less messy.
