Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Oil Spray

Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Oil Spray

The Original Source Skin Quench oil claims to be a quick drying moisturising oil spray which should leave your skin feeling quenched, nourished and revitalised.  For the last few weeks I've been spritzing this over my legs after a shower and hoping for the best.

Original Source Quick Drying Moisturising Oil Spray

Admittedy I was pretty nervous about putting a moisturising oil onto my oily, acne prone skin, but since the summer nothing seems to moisturise my legs.  Regardless of how much body butter or moisturiser I put on, the skin still felt tight and uncomfortable.  When I spotted this quick-drying oil spray on offer in Boots (here) I thought it might be worth a shot.

This bottle is packed full of moisturising oils with a natural fragrance and it's vegan friendly.  The watermelon scent is incredible.  It fades pretty quickly after application, but I kind of wish it didn't - it smells amazing!  It really is a quick-drying spray - less than a minute after spraying-and-rubbing I feel dry enough to put clothes on, and I'm not left with any greasy residue.

Without a doubt my favourite thing about this is the moisturising ability.  Finally the tight, uncomfortable feeling is gone and my skin feels smooth and hydrated.  I love using it after shaving my legs, but I'm not sure how it will fair when used in conjunction with fake tan, I have a feeling oil and tan don't mix well?

I have tried the Vaseline Spray and Go moisturisers, and I loved them, but this blows them out of the water.  The Original Source option is just as quick and easy to apply, but it's much more moisturising and as much as I love the cocoa butter scent, watermelon wins for me!

If you're looking for a quick and easy hydration fix for your body, this is definitely worth a shot, especially in this cold, harsh weather!

  1. OoOOoooohhh I'm new to the Vaseline sprays so this could be right up my alley too. Lovely.
    Interesting choice scent-wise too.
