At the moment, adult colouring books seem to be everywhere I look. There are patterns, animals, landscapes, quotes, swear words and films to spend hours colouring in. Two years ago, if you'd told me I'd be spending my evenings under a blanket, watching a good film while colouring in I'd never have believed you, but now more often than not that's where you'll find me.
After Christmas, these books seemed to be everywhere, and I had a case of the green eyed monster - I wanted one. I searched everywhere for one with patterns I loved, and when I came across this Liberty one, I was sold.
This book is smaller than any of the other colouring books I've come across - its smaller than A5 which I love. The patterns inside are the floral and paisley patterns regularly used by Libertys. Because of the book's tiny size and the intricate designs, some of the designs are pretty difficult to colour, but that doesn't bother me - I enjoy experimenting with what works and what doesn't. I've found that I prefer using coloured pencils to pen, and I work on one design at a time, rather than chopping and changing between them all.
I adore the beautiful designs, and the tiny size is perfect for me! It is taking me so long to work through them, I'm only on my fourth design so this is going to last forever!
I imagine that really is taking you a long time! They're so intricate and beautiful x
