YSL Babydoll Mascara

I've been spoilt again! After a very unattractive case of conjunctivitis (#teacherproblems) I had to throw out my slightly excessive collection of mascaras.  As a little treat for passing my final university teaching placement my sweetheart of a boyfriend treated me to this little beauty, and it's quickly shot to holy grail status! 

I have always been loyal to high street mascaras, as far as before this I'd never tried a high-end mascara before.  I just always found that the high street offerings got the job done without breaking the bank, which was all I wanted, but since trying this I just don't think I can look at my Volume Million lashes the same way! Even the packaging blows anything you'd find in Superdrug out of the water - a gorgeous gold tube with pink writing stands out in my collection and just feels luxurious!

The small plastic wand is perfect for capturing each and every lash, and the true black wet formula really lengthens and volumises my lashes without making them look spidery or false.  It is so comfortable to wear and doesn't dry crispy or hard.  It isn't a waterproof formula, but it doesn't flake or smudge throughout the day, and it pretty easy to remove with a bit of micellar water.  

I just love how it makes my eyelashes look, the only downside is the price - at £24.50 a tube it isn't cheap, but the results make me think it's worth it.  I absolutely adore using this mascara, and I'm so grateful to Rob for my little treat!
