As an oily-skinned girl, it's quite hard to find products which keep shine away without looking caked-on or powdery, so every time I hear a recommendation for a mattifying powder which isn't cakey I'm in there like swimwear. My newest one is this little beauty from Bourjois.
I love the packaging of this, the pan is massive, the mirror is huge and it's seriously slim while still feeling sturdy. The powder itself is a dream; it's finely milled and although it does have a shade (mine's 52 by the way) seems completely invisible - it appears to eliminate shine without adding anything visible at all, which is exactly what I wanted. In the past even translucent powders have been at least a little bit noticeable, but not this one! I can't get enough of this - oily skinned girls, this one's for you!
I'd be scared to drop this one! Seems like it'd break into a million pieces. It's gorgeous!

I dropped it the other day and it survived! it's pretty sturdy! x
DeleteI caved and picked this up on my UK trip after hearing all the raves about it. I haven't cracked it open yet, but I'm seriously appreciative of the slim packaging, unlike other powders! (-coughoucghSoapandGlory-)
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, have had the soap and glory one in my bag lately and it's too bulky for my little makeup bag! x
