I don't really carry many makeup bits around with my on a day-to-day basis, but the ones I do lug around with me are pretty impressive.

Sunday Post: Morning Essentials

I've managed to get my morning routine down to a fine art so I can get as much sleep as humanly possible.  Cutting down my skincare routine has really benefited my skin, and knowing exactly which products to use helps speed up my morning routine.

I am still loving La Roche Posay for skincare - I wash my face with the Physiological Cleansing Gel and moisturise using Effaclar Mat.  I pop a dab of Nivea Hydro Care on my lips because it moisturises them and adds a bit of SPF15 protection from the sun.  When I brush my teeth I usually use a toothpaste from Colgate but that's more because it's a habit from living at home than my personal preference.

If I wash my hair, I can't get enough of the Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce shampoo and conditioner at the moment - it smells divine and gets the job done without weighing my hair down or leaving any gross residue.  If I don't wash my hair I use my trusty Batiste, I like most of the scents, but I'm using Blush at the moment.  I haven't included a shower gel or soap because it changes so often, at the moment I'm loving Dirty from Lush.

I know it's lazy, but the only step left is anti-antiperspirant - I love this one from Mitchum.  I am aware that I should moisturise my body, but I don't want to spend the time massaging body butter in or waiting for anything to dry before getting dressed, so I usually skip that step - don't sue me!

Evening Skincare Routine for Oily Acne-Prone Skin

I've developed a real love for skincare recently, I'm set on finding the perfect routine to keep my skin looking healthy and glowing.  For reference, I have oily skin with some acne scarring and relatively regular blemishes.  It is a lot better at the moment than it has been in years, and although I am now confident enough to occasionally venture out of the house with a lighter coverage foundation or BB cream, I'm not quite ready to go makeup-less.  These are the products I'm using in the evenings to look after my skin before bed.

La Roche Posay Skincare for Oily Acne-Prone Skin

I am forever searching for my ideal skincare routine, and with the help of La Roche Posay I just might have found it!  I have suffered with bad skin for the last seven or eight years, and 2013 had been a bad skin year until about six weeks ago.  I decided to completely re-work my skincare routine, as what I was using obviously wasn't doing my any favours.  After spending an insane amount of time trawling Boots, searching the internet and reading an endless amount of advice from Caroline Hirons, I decided on La Roche Posay skincare - mainly the Effeclar range which is formulated for oily and spot-prone skin. I'm currently using three products from La Roche Posay, but I'm fancying the micellar water and toner.
