I am one of those people who likes to have different perfumes for different seasons. In the warmer weather I like a light, fresh, fruity and floral smells, but I like something woodier and earthier when it's a bit chillier. This summer (if you could even call it that in the UK!) I had a few go-to smells which I reached for every single day.
The Hollister body sprays remind me of my school days - I used to love spritzing them all over me (probably too much) before school, but I haven't owned one in years. A few weeks ago I was making a Hollister order and was only a few pounds away from free delivery, so I popped the cutest-looking bottle in my bag and hoped for the best.
It smells really fresh, fruity and summery. Admittedly the scent doesn't hang around for particularly long, but what can you expect from a body spray? It's perfect for a quick spritz throughout the day.
I was lucky enough to receive Daisy Dream as a gift for my birthday (full review here) and I have hardly put it down. It is the perfect light fruity/floral scent for spring and summer, I'll be sad when autumn properly begins and I put it in the cupboard to save for when the sun is shining.
How adorable are these!? And my favourite of the bunch - I bought these miniature Marc Jacobs from duty free whilst on holiday to Marbella; I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them. Marc Jacobs is the king of spring/summer fragrances, and these little bottles dont disappoint.
The original Daisy eau de toilette (full size here) is feminine and floral in the cutest bottle with a white lid. According to the Boots website it has top notes of strawberry and violet leaves, heart notes of violet petals and jasmine bouquet and base notes of musk and vanilla. In a nutshell: I love it.
Daisy eau so fresh (full size here) still has a floral scent, but its more light and fruity while staying sophisticated. It has topnotes of red grapefruit, raspberry, green leaves and pair; heart notes of violet, wild rose, apple blossom, lychee and jasmine petals; and base notes of musks, plum and cedarwood.
The Sorbet option (full size here) is sweet and fresh with top notes of pink grapefruit, pear and passion fruit, heart notes of wisteria, jasmine and muguet and base notes of violet wood, cedarwood and sheer musks.
Although the different scents aren't vastly varied, there are clear differences between the perfumes. I love all three, and they've been perfect for every occasion throughout the summer.
Although I have a perfect little collection of summery perfumes, I don't have nearly as many options for the colder, darker weather; what are your favourite autumn/winter perfumes?
That Marc Jacobs bottles look so preety!!!!! :) xx

The mini Marc Jacobs bottles are so cute! I've always loved Hollister body sprays too - despite not being a big fan of the shop itself anymore - their scents are always just SO GOOD, I may have to invest in one for the first time in years :)

These are soo cute!! I want some just to display on my dressing table ha, but the scents sound gorgeous too! I actually have a mini Marc Jacobs which I'm yet to try but I really want this miniature set too now. I think the Sorbet version sounds especially gorgeous so I'll be looking out for the full size of that one next time I'm in duty free. Alice xx

Oh gosh the Marc Jacobs ones are so cute! I always laugh at the fragrance descriptions for expensive perfume, they're typically written very pretentiously and vaguely, but somehow I feel like your description for the Daisy miniature bottles are so accurate! My friend owns a set, and I'm always sneaking spritzes when I'm at her house.
